Restaurant Conservatory in Portugal
Addition of a conservatory creates breath-taking riverside views for leading restaurant & winebar.
This impressive conservatory was created as an extension to Symington Port Lodge Restaurant & Winebar, located on the riverside in Porto.
Hampton Conservatories made use of the pathway at the front of the original 19th century building to create a large hipped conservatory finished in Brilliant White with five section bi-fold doors on either end, which allow the space to be used in comfort on a year round basis.
During the winter, the dining area can be entirely closed to the elements whilst still allowing expansive views of the city below. In the summer, the doors open and the terrace shaded by mature grape vines is enjoyed in the Portuguese climate.
